I am a Ph. D. scholar in the department of chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka where I have joined in August 2019. Currently, I am studying the organic chemistry of various enzyme catalysed reactions in the biosynthesis of ribosomally derived peptides and non-ribosomally derived peptide natural products. I have obtained my M.Sc in pharmaceutical chemistry from Kuvempu University, Kadur in 2016. Later, I have joined as Research associate in medicinal chemistry department at Auriegene discovery technologies, Banglore from June 2016 to September 2017 and I have worked as lecturer in the department of chemistry at govt. first grade college, Tumkur from July 2018 to April 2019. I have cleared CSIR NET JRF (AIR 41) and GATE.
I am a Ph.D. scholar in the department of chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka. I have joined recently in August 2020. I have completed my M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam in the year 2017-19. I am currently working on the ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide natural products and their biosynthesis. I have worked as Chemistry Subject Matter Expert at Studymode Technologies Pvt Ltd Bangalore for a year (2019-20). There I have also worked as Chemistry Freelance team lead for a couple of months. I have cleared GATE 2020. Apart from being a research scholar I love to dance, paint and do craftswork.

I have completed my M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Kuvempu University in the year 2018-2020. I have recently got selected for DST Inspire Fellowship. My hobbies are riding bike, exploring new places, reading books and novels. I have recently got selected for Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) during Cycle 10- 2023.

I have completed my M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from K.J.Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, University of Mumbai in the year 2020-22. I am currently working on ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide natural products. I have worked as Biology and Chemistry teacher in Vitraag Tutorials from 2020-22. I worked on Click Chemistry in my post graduation. I have cleared GATE 2022. Some of my hobbies are reading novels, dancing, playing chess and badminton.
I am a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka. I have joined in July 2024. I have completed my bachelor’s and master’s in Microbiology from University of Calcutta. I have worked as a medical associate at Noida. I have also worked as JRF on antimicrobial resistance at LVPEI, Hyderabad. I am currently studying the organic chemistry of enzymes involved in natural products biosynthesis.I love spending time with nature.
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry at IIT Dharwad, Karnataka. I hold an MSc in Biochemistry from Mangalore University and a BSc from Tumkur University, with research exposure from my short-term dissertation at Manixil Biotech LLP, Bangalore. I successfully cleared GATE and KSET 2024 on my first attempt.Beyond academics, I enjoy exploring new things, playing volleyball and chess, listening to music, and watching movies.
I am a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka, where I joined in August 2025. I completed my Master's in Botany from the University of Mysore. I have cleared CSIR NET (LS) in 2024, GATE XL in 2025, and K-SET in 2024. My hobbies include playing guitar and singing.
I am a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka, having joined in August 2025. I have completed my M.Sc. in Biochemistry form Central University of haryana. I gained research experience in proteomics during my internships at DRDO-INMAS and BARC. I have qualified GATE XL (2024, 2025) and GATE BT (2025). My research interests include enzymatic and metalloenzymatic synthesis of biologically active compounds, natural product biosynthesis, and enzyme engineering. Apart from research, I enjoy traveling and meeting new people.
Undergraduate Students:
I am a fourth-year BS-MS student in Interdisciplinary Sciences with a major in Chemistry at IIT Dharwad, Karnataka. My research experience includes an internship at IIT Bhubaneswar, where I worked on supramolecular chemistry. I am passionate about exploring diverse scientific domains and developing a strong, versatile research foundation. Outside academics, I enjoy filming, photography, and watching football, which allow me to express my creativity, relax, and connect with my interests beyond science.

Currently, I am working on a ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide natural product. I have completed my M.Sc in organic chemistry from Karnataka University, Dharwad in 2016. I have worked as Scientific Analyst at Molecular Connections Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru in 2017-18 and then worked as Junior Research Fellow at Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research, Bangalore from 2018-19. I have cleared GATE 2019. I love reading books, riding and exploring new places.
I am a project intern in the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka. I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from KLE Technological University (BVB) in the year 2016-2020 and qualified GATE 2020. I have joined in March 2021, and currently working on a collaboration project that involves cloning, expression and purification of environmentally useful lipopeptides and proteases. I have previously interned at Unichem Laboratories Ltd, Goa, where I worked on downstream processing of therapeutic proteins. My hobbies include creative writing, painting and baking.

I am a project intern in the Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka. I am a research Intern in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka; enrolled from December 2021 and I’ll be working on a collaborative project involving molecular cloning, protein expression and protein purification. I completed my Master of Science (MS) in Industrial and Commercial Biotechnology at Newcastle University, United Kingdom (2019) and I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Biotechnology at B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubballi (2017). I have research experience at KLE Technological University in the Department of Biotechnology for a year (2021); in addition, I also have work experience at Abhiruchi Probiotics Pvt Ltd., NCL Venture Centre, Pune for a year as a Bioprocess executive (2018).
I am a Ph. D. scholar in Department of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka where I have started my journey from July 2022. I completed my masters in Chemistry from Christ deemed to be University, Bengaluru in 2022. I am a DST-Inspire Scholar since 2017 and I am currently working on ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide natural products. I have cleared GATE 2022 and CSIR-UGC NET JRF (AIR 87). Apart from my research work I play the violin and read books as my hobby.
I am a Junior research fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad Karnataka. Currently, I am working on ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptide natural products. I have completed my M.Sc in Genomic Science at the Central University of Kerala, after my MSc, I worked as a Project associate at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. I have cleared GATE 2020 and CSIR-UGC NET. Apart from my research work, I love reading books and cooking.
I am a summer intern in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, Karnataka, from May 2024 to July 2024. Currently, I am working on a project involving the transformation, expression, and purification of proteins, and I will also be learning peptide modification. I am pursuing BS-MS (Dual Degree) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISERB), Madhya Pradesh, since 2022. Previously, I completed a short-term internship on the ‘Synthesis of Pyridone Ligands’ at IISERB. Additionally, I am a recipient of the "DST INSPIRE SHE Scholarship". In my free time, I enjoy cycling, playing badminton, and analysing international relations.
I am a passionate intern in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka from May to July 2024. I am pursuing graduate studies at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. I have gained valuable practical experience during my previous internship in Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, at University of Hyderabad. I'm Aurosmita Swain, and I am currently pursuing my 5-years-course of Integrated M.Sc. in Applied Chemistry at Odisha University of Technology and Research, Bhubaneswar. I am expected to graduate in 2026, and I am fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Nilkamal Mahanta, guiding me through this internship focused on Bioorganic Chemistry and Chemical Biology (May-July 2024). Previously, I've also interned at Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (Jharsuguda, Odisha) about the Conventional Methods of Coal Production (Industrial and Green Chemistry). Beyond academics, I am a multifaceted individual with a deep passion for dance, writing, and freelance work.
I am Sujata Das, currently interning at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad, Karnataka. I hold an M.Sc. in Life Sciences with a specialization in Microbiology from Dibrugarh University, completed with a gold medal (2022-2024). My internship from December 2024 to February 2025 focuses on Biosynthesis Studies of nucleoside natural products. Outside of my academic and research interests, I enjoy drawing portraits and playing outdoor sports.
I’m currently a student in the Integrated BS-MS program at IISER Kolkata, where I major in Chemistry and minor in Biology. As part of my academic journey, I’ve developed a strong interest in Medicinal Chemistry, Biocatalysis, and Bioorganic Chemistry. To explore these fields further, I’m currently interning at IIT Dharwad, gaining hands-on research experience. I also have working knowledge of Python and a basic foundation in Earth sciences from my coursework. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, traveling, and staying connected to nature through outdoor exploration.
I am Saranyaa Nath, currently pursuing a BS-MS Dual Degree (2023–28) at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali (IISERM). I have joined the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad as a summer intern (May–July 2025), where I am working on enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of natural products. Previously, I completed a summer internship (2024) at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, focusing on chemical ecology. Outside of academics, my interests include painting, dancing, and reading books.
