As part of the Chemical Engineering Departmental Outreach Activity, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year B.Tech Chemical Engineering students of IIT Dharwad visited Shilpa Biologicals, Belur, Dharwad on 01 September 2025.
During the visit, students observed the upstream and downstream vaccine manufacturing processes, formulation, and final product development units, gaining valuable industrial exposure.
We sincerely thank Mr. Amal Sasidharan, Mr. Harikrishna, and Mr. Aravind from Shilpa Biologicals for facilitating the visit and providing detailed interactions.
The visit was coordinated by Prof. C. Ravikumar and Prof. Shashwata Ghosh, with support from Mr. Varun of Chemical Engineering Department.
