Prof. A. D. Dileep, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Dharwad Participates as Guest of Honour in Junior Scientist Programme at Belagavi

Prof. A. D. Dileep, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Dharwad participated as the Guest of Honour in the Junior Scientist Programme organized by the STEAM-H Training and Research Foundation on 18 January 2026 at R. N. Shetty Polytechnic College, Shivabasav Nagar, Belagavi.

The STEAM-H Training and Research Foundation has been established by Naganuru Shri Rudrakshimath, Shivabasav Nagar, Belagavi’s Shri Siddharameshwar Education Trust, with support from Transdisciplinary Learning Solutions Private Limited. The initiative aims to provide research and development opportunities for students, industry professionals, and community members through a transdisciplinary learning ecosystem.

The Junior Scientist Programme is designed to identify and nurture young aspirants by offering exposure and training in cutting-edge areas such as robotics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, digital and space technologies, renewable energy, and related domains across science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, and humanities (STEAM-H). The programme emphasizes systematic and transdisciplinary approaches to learning, enabling participants to make informed career choices and engage proactively in advanced research and development activities.

Through this initiative, students also gain early opportunities to interact with engineering students and research scholars, fostering collaboration and innovation from the early stages of their academic journey.

Prof. Dileep’s participation highlighted IIT Dharwad’s continued engagement with educational outreach initiatives that promote scientific curiosity, innovation, and research-driven learning among young students.
