Welcome to the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering (BSBE)
The Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering (BSBE) was established in the year 2016. The primary objective of the department is to apply basic science and engineering principles to enhance learning in different areas of life-sciences and biomedical engineering.
The academic activities pursued at the department are aimed at generating novel ideas and solutions for different biomedical problems. The students and the faculty in the department are involved in carrying out both basic and translational biomedical research in areas ranging from cancer diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and antimicrobial resistance.
The department currently offers a doctoral program and several elective and core courses at the undergraduate level.
