IIT DHARWAD NSS team conducts a cleanliness camp at IIT DHARWAD Permanent campus every week. A group of 26 NSS volunteers of IIT DHARWAD participated in this camp in the context of this idea.

Har Ghar Tiranga Awareness Program
On the eve of "Independence Day" and " "Har Ghar Tiranga" awareness program and flag distribution program was 14/08/2023, we had a photoshoot with the Staff, Faculty, students, Deans, and Director.
3rd Blood Donation Camp
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Indian Institute of Technology DHARWAD conducted the 3rd Blood Donation Camp on 12th August 2023 on the occasion of 77th Independence Day. The 3rd Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Prof. VenkappayyA R dEsAi, Director-IIT DHARWAD in the presence of students, Faculty and staff. The camp was well supported by DHARWAD Blood Bank. The campaign got an overwhelming response as Seventy five donors came forward for the noble cause of donating blood to save precious lives. NSS Unit of IIT DHARWAD will continue to contribute to the society through various activities and programs in the days to come.

June 5th World Environment Day (Nakhsatravana)
NSS Unit of IIT DHARWAD conducted the NaKHsatravana plantation program on 05th June 2023 on the occasion of World Environment Day at the permanent campus near the KRDC Building. This NaKHsatravana program is a significant symbol of working towards change and a better future for all.
Drug Awareness Walkathon Program
A large number of Indian Institute Of Technology DHARWAD Students and other college students participated in a walkathon, “Say ‘No’ to Drugs”, from the KCD College Ground to the KCD College main Building here on Sunday (25/06/2023).
Voter Awareness Program
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Indian Institute of Technology DHARWAD conducted the Voter Awareness Programme on 03rd May 2023. IIT Dh NSS Unit to ensure that people understand their right as voters and exercise that right with full knowledge and responsibility. to educate the voter about the importance of voting in democratic countries like India.
International Women's Day
The IITDh NSS unit conducted a Group Completions for Women’s events are Spot Painting Competition, Poster Making Competition, Kavithai competition on 8 th March 2023 on the account of International Women’s day with the theme “THE REAL ARCHITECTS OF SOCIETY” Students from various departments participated and best essays were awarded to III-year BTECH Students.
2nd Blood Donation Camp
To mark this occasion, a social service initiative was taken up in the form of voluntary Blood donation on 22 nd January 2023, campaign with the support of DHARWAD Blood Bank. The campaign got an overwhelming response as Ninety-four donors came forward for the noble cause of saving lives.
